Features

Listen can browse different web services:

  • Shoucast Webradio
  • Podcast
  • Lyrics (througth many plugins like lyriki, leolyrics,... )
  • Wikipedia informations about artists or albums

The interface can have 4 display modes:

  • a mini mode to preserve the screen space
  • a playlist mode like xmms interface
  • a normal mode with all listen feature in the same window
  • a Party mode (fullscreen)

Two different notifications can be used, a fancy On Screen Display or the system notification service (libnotify)

Also it supports command line and dbus to easily interact with other applications.

Many audio formats are supported (ogg, flac, mpc, mp3, mp4, m4a)

You can update metadata informations of all sorts of media or fetch it with musicbrainz.
